I happily arrived just before Dr. Costa did rounds, a few minutes ago. All of Karis’s important numbers (BUN, bili, blood pressure, etc.) have improved! Her bleeding has slowed down and she may not even need a transfusion today. Dr. Costa ordered one more cryo to consolidate this gain, but overall her whole profile is more cheerful. The nurses and aides have been wonderful. Thank you, Lord, for the kindness of the people on 11 North!

Debbie, I am so glad that you were able to spend such quality time with Dr. Costa these past few days and that Karis is out of ICU and resting more comfortably. I keep praying for peace and God’s will for her through all of this…..and for you. Love you, friend. Barbara
